Creativity has always floated just beneath the surface of my life. Steady, quiet, and anchored deep. It's the thing I kept coming back to, even when I wandered. After earning my Bachelor's in Design from The Ohio State University in 2006, I started in commercial retail design, found it creatively boxed-in, and pivoted into nearly a decade as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
Let's be honest. I'm not saving lives anymore. But I believe, wholeheartedly, that I'm still changing them for the better. Ten years in healthcare taught me how to stay calm under pressure, listen for what people aren't saying, and hold space for big decisions. That's the designer I came back as in 2019.
I founded Haven & Harbor because I believe homeowners deserve a guide through waters that can feel confusing and overwhelming. Home, to me, is an anchor. A harbor from the noise of everything else. That's what we're building for our clients. And what started as a solo leap has grown into something I couldn't have built alone. My husband Mike, my best friend and business partner, came alongside me to anchor our operations and growth, and our team has grown into people I genuinely trust and admire.
Outside of this work, I'm a momma first, and proudly so. You'll find me on the boat, slowed down at home, or searching out the next salty breeze. I lead our team with process, intuition, and an obsessive love of detail. Our work is thoughtful, textural, and personal. Designed to reflect your story and support your everyday life.

HELLO, THERE!
Marine Corps Veteran. Finance guy. Strategist. Handyman. Trash collector. Occasional bouncer. Dad of three boys, husband of 20 years, and the only man brave enough to sit through our design meetings without flinching. Mike officially joined Haven & Harbor in 2026, but he's been the quiet engine behind it from day one. He'll talk to anyone, loves anything with a motor, and is the reason the lights stay on — literally and figuratively!

Somehow Ohio people always find each other. Annika is a South Carolina transplant who now calls Chapin home, and she joined our team in early 2023 — later earning her Interior Design certification along the way. She's patient, steady, endlessly creative, and sweet as can be. Whether she's running between job sites or making magic happen behind the scenes, she's the person you want in your corner.

This South Carolina native has Chapin roots that took her to Charlotte, then Charleston, and back again. She joined us in early 2024 and quickly became the heartbeat of the team in all the best ways — passionately creative, relentlessly organized, and responsible for most of the laughter in the office. Off the clock, she's proudly playing her favorite roles ever: wife and momma. Her love language is chicken bacon ranch. Her least favorite thing? Backing into a parking spot.

Some people you hire. Others just fit. Pazlan walked into Haven + Harbor in September 2025 with her own design experience and business background, and slid into a spot we didn't know was empty. This South Carolina girl is married to her husband Grant, comes from a big, wonderful family she loves fiercely, and is currently building their dream home — learning the ins and outs of construction one decision at a time. Fluent in floor plans, finishes, and the art of not taking life too seriously.
