Creativity has always floated near the surface of my life, as has the desire to pursue difference-making work. With that said, if interior design simply meant filling a room with beautiful things, I wouldn’t have come back to it after 10 years in the high-stakes world of healthcare. Let’s be clear. I’m not saving lives through interior design. But I deeply believe that I’m still changing them for the better.

My journey into residential design took a roundabout path, with diverse experiences that uniquely shaped my approach to design. After graduating from The Ohio State University in 2006 with a Bachelor's in Design, I spent the next three years immersed in commercial retail design. Disenchanted with the lack of creative fulfillment and profoundly dissatisfied with corporate life, I made a decisive shift into the healthcare realm, ultimately finding fulfillment as a Labor and Delivery Nurse for the majority of my professional journey. Bet you didn’t see that one coming—honestly, I didn’t either. But kismet called me back to design in 2019 and I never looked back. 

Wife. Momma. Principal Designer. Sunseeker in constant search of salty island ocean breezes. Believer that music, fresh air, and margaritas can solve most any bad day.
